The following calls are documented from a consumer, with a Panasonic Cordless Phone (Model KX-TGF780). Each of the scam and robo calls are automatically blocked — because caller is not in the telephone's address book and/or the area code is automatically blocked because it is a known area code associated with spoofed and robo numbers, while consumer knows of no one in the area code region.

If callers, that are not in the telephone's address book, were human, callers hear a prompt to enter the consumers' set code before their call is passed through to the consumer, else, call is dropped by Panasonic phone as a robo or spoofed call. The consumer can also set the feature to drop calls which do not display their caller ID at all ("Unknown" callers).

Many of the robo calls originate through online scripts from various countries or outlying US territories.

Robo and/or scam calls cannot bypass Panasonic phone's Anonymous Call Blocking feature.
