Tell The ATF To Stop Ghost Guns

UPDATE: The New York Attorney General has stopped the sale of ghost guns
Now sign the petition to stop ghost guns nationally >>

Ghost guns are one of the fastest growing gun safety problems facing the country—they are unserialized, untraceable, and aren’t subject to background checks.

These are DIY, homemade guns made from readily available, unregulated parts, meaning that their building blocks are easily acquired without a background check. These guns can enter our communities completely undetected—so they can undermine all of our gun safety laws if gone unchecked.

Now, New York Attorney General Letitia James has stepped up to protect our communities and stop the sale of these dangerous firearms. This week, she announced that 17 websites that sell firearms and parts of these firearms have stopped selling the building blocks for ghost guns in our state.

We’re taking these crucial steps here in New York. But that’s not enough—we have to stop these firearms at the national level. So we’re asking you to take action with us: Sign this petition to tell the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to regulate ghost guns.
