Miss Venus Pellagatti Xtravaganza chose to live her life, her truth, and live as she was born.
Born May 22, 1965, and left our world on December 21, 1988, at the age of 23. Her murder remains a cold case, but her memory should never go cold. She lived to represent love, laughter, dance, grace and beauty. We will never know how many lives would have been inspired or helped by Venus, because hate and bigotry took her life away.
So, let us live her truth on her birthday, and homegoing day, so that her memory never gets buried by hate.
