Remembering Princess Diana

138 138 people viewed this event.

Princess Diana would actually be Queen of England right now, had her marriage to Charles been based upon love, commitment, fidelity, and honesty.

On August 31, 1997, Princess Diana was killed in a car crash, while being hounded by vicious photographers. Princess Diana was simply living her life, while leaving a legacy of compassion, empathy, empowerment, and love for all, including for the persons who tormented her.

On this day, let us remember what a civic leader looks like. Let us also do something positive to honor the legacy of Princess Diana. Some of her causes and passions were safety for children, compassion for those less fortunate than ourselves, concern for homeless, and persons with terminal illnesses. Donate to a reputable organization on her behalf. Volunteer on her behalf. Pay it forward for someone, on Princess Diana’s behalf.
