Title should have been “Racist person, 37, is arrested for ‘storming into a rabbi’s home with a machete and stabbing five people’ during a Hanukkah party in an ‘act of domestic terrorism’ amid a surge in anti-Semitic attacks“.
Until media starts calling out specific racism which leads to violence against others, persons will continue to associate problem with a RACE, instead of racism, which is a severe form of mental illness. Racism can be cured with education, on both sides of racist attacks. Knowing when and how to call out racism to push back against it from furthering and/or move forward around it, or when specific persons or groups need to be focused on as a danger to others, while not labeling an entire race or group of persons as part of the problem.
Trump won’t even classify white nationalists as domestic terrorists, because he, too, supports mentally deranged beliefs of white nationalists, which leads to harm (violence) against others. After Heather Heyer was killed in Charlottesville by a mentally disturbed racist, Trump referred to nationalists, who promoted and created the violent and fatal attacks, as “very fine people”. Nationalism, whether black, white or other is a threat to all.
Even after deranged nationalist Dylann Roof entered Charleston church with intent to kill (domestic terrorism to eradicate others), and Roof was never called a terrorist or even after by mainstream media, and especially not by Trump, Stephen Miller nor even Candace Owens, who placates nationalism.
