Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States.
Celebrations are nationally, and have been held nationally for decades, while millions of Americans were kept in the dark (specifically by Critical Race Theory objectors).
Check with your local organizations, including NAACP and MoveOn, which respectfully honor Juneteenth, for events and celebrations in your area.
And… let’s keep the momentum going to make Juneteenth a federal holiday, and a reminder of what our Union fought for. https://sign.moveon.org/petitions/make-juneteenth-a-state

Education leads to toppling of racism!
If education did not, it would not be feared so much by those who want to bury Black History.
Juneteenth has always been a great annual gathering for Black Americans across our nation. However, for those not familiar with the holiday, here’s a helpful guide from The Root: https://www.theroot.com/make-juneteenth-great-again-the-caucasians-guide-to-ce-1847124121
